Use your [Q] and [P] to get rid of Malzahar’s voidlings (W) quickly. It’s okay to use your [E] to close in and deal damage if you allowed Malzahar to get close before he reaches level 6. After he reaches level 6 though, Malzahar can turn the tables with his [R], so we recommend pushing lane quickly and go roaming.
