Whoever lands their skills more will win lane. Vel’Koz’s Void Rift (W) does not deal a lot of damage by itself, while Plasma Fission (Q) is hard to target, giving Xerath the upper hand as he is easier to handle. Kill Vel’Koz after a couple of pokes as he lacks movement skills.
